By using Pet Name Generator (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site. It's a name generator — the stakes are low, but the lawyers insisted.
Use of the Site
- You may use generated names for your pet, your fictional characters, your Wi-Fi network, or any other personal or commercial purpose.
- You may not scrape the Site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to generate harmful or harassing content.
- You're responsible for whatever you do with the names. If your dog ends up named "The Defendant," that's between you and your dog.
Intellectual property
The Site's design, code, copy, and curated name lists are owned by us. Individual names generated by the Site are generic and free for you to use. Trademarked names referenced in the name pools (e.g., parody plays on celebrities or fictional characters) are referenced under fair use and are owned by their respective holders.
No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the generator will produce a name that will impress your veterinarian, in-laws, or HOA.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to the social consequences of naming a Great Dane "Tiny."
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
